The town of Kersey Colorado is located about 8 miles east of Greeley. It is a small town surrounded by acriculture. The population of Kersey is about 1400 people. It features a high school that serves the population of the town and the surrounding farm community. Kersey wasn't as developed as a bedroom community in the 1990s and 2000s as other similar towns in Weld County. The newest subdivision is on the west side of the town, but isn't completely built out.
